Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd.
Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd. is mandated to promote trade, create logistics and trade promotion infrastructure and manufacture and sale of “Golkonda” brand note books, Plain Copier Paper and other Paper products to the government departments and organizations and to the open market.
TSTPC has been serving the industry with a focus on promoting trade, commerce and industry, with various initiatives such as trade fairs, business networking events, training programs, export awareness programs and trade promotional activities like conducting and participating in National and international trade exhibitions, seminars taking and receiving trade delegations, providing export guidance to the trade and industry and dissemination of export and import information.
Activities of TSTPC has establishment of Logistic facilities
Established a Container Freight Station in an area of 7.01 acres at Mamidipally, Opp. to Hardware Park, near RGI Airport, Hyderabad for the use of trade and industry in Hyderabad and surrounding districts for the purpose of bonding and de-bonding their export / import cargo, Customs clearance, stuffing and de-stuffing of containers etc. Necessary action has been taken to make it operational by appointing an O&M Operator.
Development of Multi Modal Logistics Park near Hyderabad
Government has nominated TSTPC as an Implementing Agency for development of Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP). MMLP is being developed jointly with National High Highways Logistics Management Ltd. (a subsidiary of National Highways Authority of India) and Rail Vikas Nigam at Parkibanda village near Toopran, Manoharabad Mandal, Medak District. The process of acquiring the land required i.e. 300 – 350 acres is in progress.
MMLP will be a freight handling facility with rail and road accessibility, comprising of Container Terminals, cargo terminals, warehouses, cold storages, facilities for mechanized handling and value-added services such as customs clearances with bonded storage yards, testing facilities etc.,
Trade Promotion and other activities:
a) Trade Promotion
- TSTPC is working with various industry chambers including Federation of Export Organisation (FIEO), DGFT, EEPC India, Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), various Industrial Associations to conduct Export Awareness Programmes in Districts.
- TSTPC is also supporting MSMEs and Startups in the Food Processing Sectors to show case their products by setting up Telangana State Pavilion in the Indus Food 2023 Expo in Hyderabad.
- Conducted Export Awareness Programme for the General Managers of District Industries Centers, of Industries Department and Zonal Managers of TSIIC Ltd. in March 2023 in association with Directorate of Industries, GoT.
b) Raising and Accelerating of MSME Performance (RAMP) Raising and Accelerating of MSME Performance (RAMP)
The Government of Telangana in October 2022 has nominated TSTPC Ltd. as State Nodal Agency for the RAMP Scheme of the Government of India. M/s KPMG Consultancy Organisation is engaged for preparation of strategic investment proposals for the MSME Sector in the State of Telangana.
